Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-20
Condor Energy (“Condor”, “we”, “us”) operates the website condor.energy. This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit this site, why we process it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Condor Energy, a société par actions simplifiée (SAS) registered in France under SIRET 99153616000013, headquartered at 90 rue de Varenne, 75007 Paris. For any privacy request, write to founders@condor.energy.
2. What we collect
When you visit condor.energy, the following personal data is processed: (a) connection data (IP address, HTTP request metadata) is processed by our hosting provider (Render) on our behalf, as a processor, to serve the site, ensure availability and protect against abuse; (b) with your consent, analytics data via PostHog (page URL, referrer, device type, browser timezone, anonymous identifier) — IP addresses are not recorded against events and no GeoIP enrichment is performed; (c) with your consent, data processed by Calendly if you load the booking widget (please refer to Calendly’s own privacy policy). We do not run session replays, do not use autocapture, and do not sell personal data.
3. Why we process it
Strictly necessary: to operate and secure the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics: to measure audience and improve content (consent, Art. 6(1)(a)). Booking: to allow you to schedule a meeting (consent and contract performance).
4. Who we share it with
Our hosting provider (Render, headquartered in the United States, with EU data-region option). Our analytics provider (PostHog, EU region eu.i.posthog.com). If you opt-in, Calendly LLC processes your booking data. Transfers outside the EEA, where they occur, rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures (EU-region hosting where available, IP suppression for analytics, TLS in transit).
5. Retention
Hosting logs are retained by Render in line with its data-processing terms (typically no longer than 12 months). Analytics identifiers are kept by PostHog for up to 13 months in line with CNIL guidance, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Your consent decision itself is stored locally in your browser (under the localStorage key “condor-consent-v1”) and is automatically re-requested after 13 months; it is not transmitted to or stored by Condor. Clearing your browser storage or using the “Cookie preferences” link resets it.
6. Your rights
You can access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and object to its processing. You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Contact
To exercise any right, or for any question about this policy, email founders@condor.energy. We respond within 30 days of receipt as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.
